Mrs. Hoffiz has a BA from Albion College in Speech Communications and has a professional background in the healthcare industry. She is a certified Auditory Trainer from the Georgiana Institute. She started The Sensory Center, with the help of her husband, Dan Hoffiz,, who is a member of the College of Syntonic Optometry and a member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association. The Sensory Center manufactures The Sensory System, which is the equipment used to facilitate the Individualized Sensory Program. They both been treating children and Adults for the past 4 years and training and certifying other professionals on the use of the equipment and sensory processing disorders. . She has lectured in northern California at various symposiums, schools, and organizations for her work in Neurosensory-Motor work. Her son Steve, who is her inspiration and is recovering from Autism. Her son’s story is published in the book Teating Autism: Parent Stories of Hope and Success, edited by Stephen M. Edilson,Ph.D and Bernard Rimland, Ph.D. She has worked closely and been trained under Julie Matthews, Certified Nutritionist, on how to implement the Body Ecology Diet with her own son and shares her knowledge with others.
Mr. Clayton has an MBA in finance from UCLA, and also received undergraduate and graduate degrees in civil engineering from UC Berkeley. He is currently a financial consultant whose areas of expertise include corporate finance, debt underwriting, and real estate. Mr. Clayton previously worked for Citibank, where he was a managing director in the New York and Tokyo offices.
Prior to that, he worked for Dames & Moore, an environmental and civil engineering consulting firm based in Los Angeles. Mr. Clayton also sits on the board of another California non-profit corporation.
Lee is a Neuro Rehad Specialist who Graduated with a Bachelor in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Lee has 26 yrs experience working with patients all across the continuum of healthcare from neonatal intensive care units and pediatrics all the way to geriatrics; from acute Hospitals all the way to post acute care in skill nursing and home care. She is certified by Jean Years for Sensory Integrative Testing for Pediatrics. She has dedicated most of her career to rehabilitating the neurologically challenged with the goal of improving their quality of life. Her goal is not only impact life’s of individual patients but contribute at a great level by conducting research the will benefit a larger number of people by augmenting current traditional therapies and improving accesses to alternative treatment.
Her interest in The Individualized Sensory Program (ISP) stems from her frustration with the limited results experienced in her own family having two children one with ADD, another with ADHD and a nephew with autism.
Dr. Moen received her undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology. For graduate school, she attended Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles and graduated Salutatorian and was the clinic excellence award winner.
Dr. Moen is a published author and is studying to attain her Neurology Diplomat. She has a passion for helping others and has an incredible heart for children.
Ms. Lourido has her BS from California State Unniversity in nursing. She also certifications in Health Risk Management and Health Care Mediation.
She is currently the Director of Workforce Development for Kennon S. Shae and Associates.
