How You Can Help
There are 67 cases of Autism diagnosed everyday in our country. A new case of Autism is diagnosed every 20 minutes. More children will be diagnosed with Autism this year than cancer, childhood diabetes, and AIDS combined.
Support a Program
SRC Programs fall into four main categories:
- Research
- Philanthropy/Services
- Awareness
- Building Brighter Futures
Our research efforts are directed at establishing the ISP program in the medical and Autistic community, so insurance companies will pay for the service. We also hope that through the efforts of such research show Regional Centers the importance of providing payment for such program. We will also be researching ways on which to improve the program and equipment/technology used in the treatment of the ISP.
Our hope is to leave no child behind and get them the program they need, regardless of their financial situation. While many nonprofits direct most of their efforts at research, children need the treatment now.
Awareness is key in getting kids recovered. Many parents don’t know the importance of neurosensory motor stimulant through the ISP. We need funds to get the word out.
Building brighter futures- we desire that other areas that don’t have access to these types of services would have access. We hope to expand both nationally and internationally.
There is currently research available for the individual modalities that are utilized in this type of treatment approach, however no one has ever research the effectiveness of the combined effect until now. Sensory Research Center is committed to obtaining research on the Individualized Sensory Program. We are working in collaboration with doctors and specialists to obtain the research we need. If you are interested in working with us or helping our efforts, please contact us. If you are interested in becoming one of our participants in a research study, please contact us to se if you qualify.
